Submitting your site to Brave
Published · Last updated
Brave Search runs its own independent index, and it accepts submissions through a web form, so a site that Google and Bing know about can still be missing from Brave. It takes one form per URL and a few minutes, and it is the channel most site owners never touch.
Why it matters
Brave Search results feed some AI assistants and privacy-focused tools. If you are not in Brave's index, you are missing from every product that relies on it.
How to submit
Use Brave's webmaster submission form, enter the page URL, and submit. Start with your homepage and your most important pages rather than everything at once.
Set expectations
Submitting is a request, not a guarantee. Pages that return an empty shell to crawlers, or that sit behind a login, are unlikely to be picked up no matter how often you submit them.
What this does not tell you
How to work through a large site without repeating yourself, how to tell which submissions were picked up, and what to fix when they are not.
